Back Over the past two days, or since upgrading to 7.3 I have experienced 3 instances of a runaway process that was consuming 90+% of my CPU resources. Running top reported nothing unusual. Closing all windows did not elevate the problem, but restarting KDE did work. The last time this happened I noticed several copies of kdeinit running that were consuming significant CPU resources. So I tried killall -HUP kdeinit, this did dramatical drop CPU usage to a normal level. I did not have this problem run 7.2 with KDE 3. I know this is not much to go on, but does anyone have any ideas, or how to diagnose this.
