I cannot find mysqld anywhere on the system and I just tried installing a PEAR package
pear -v install tidy
It failed because 'phpize ' was not found. Looking at the php RPM SPEC
I found these lines

My RedHat Enterprise Linux ES is not connected to the internet.
I downloaded the first CD from the Update 1 release.

Is there any reason why ghostview is not included from RHEL 3 ? I know there
is GGV (I think it 's the gnome version of gv) but I get complain from users
that it 's slower than ghostview especia

Is there a way to specify samba password to be the same as the user password
on that machine?
I 've read the docs for RHEL 3 and know it 's not the recommended way but I
want it anyway.We went to upgrade one of our z390 RHEL3 servers and received the error
below. Interestingly enough our other servers (pretty much same config)
did not have this issue. Any ideas?

Looks like up2date/rhn are missing We 're fighting a number of issues with ACL 's that seem odd expecially
withing groups. For example one person in a group can read a file
another can write another can 't even see it etc.
